February 2017 Young Living Promo

Young Living has some wonderful give-aways for February, and you still have more than a week to take advantage of them! Lemongrass is one of my surprise favorites; for a long time, I figured it couldn’t be that different from Lemon, but I was wrong–it has a sweeter, milder smell and really seems to lift my mood even more than Lemon does. Agilease: Natural Joint Support with Essential Oils

Finding an EFFECTIVE supplement for natural joint support can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. I don’t know about you,  but I have tried countless supplements and creams to help my ongoing, long-standing hip and back pain incurred during too-vigorous yoga sessions 20 years ago. Sometimes my hip feels okay, other times, I can hardly fall asleep the ache is so strong. And my back pain always acts up after exercise.

So when a friend mentioned two supplements from Young Living–Agilease and Powergize–I was skeptical, to say the least. Agilease was the one that interested me most, at least at first. This new supplement from Young Living is designed to support joints and muscles and reduce inflammation. I was doubtful–not because I don’t love and trust Young Living, but because I had tried so many different supplements that I had come to the conclusion  i was going to live with this discomfort forever. Human Dignity & The Standing Rock Protests

Despite the media blackout, I hope most of you are aware of the protests currently taking place at Standing Rock in North Dakota. A bit of background: the Standing Rock Sioux and many other tribes from around the country are protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) project, which as proposed will pass along sacred burial sites and under Lake Oahe which is adjacent to Native American land. The pipeline could negatively affect the water supply and was re-routed from a primarily white area in Bismarck to the land adjacent to Native American land after the residents of Bismarck said they didn’t want the pipeline running through their backyard. If completed, the Dakota Access Pipeline would carry crude oil from the nearby Bakken oilfields where it is being fracked to Illinois, where it would meet an existing pipeline that would transport the oil to Texas. The Future of Climate Change

The Future of Climate Change

For those of you who have been following the presidential transition, you know that Trump has appointed Myron Ebell, a known climate-change denier who has no science background, to head up the EPA. This is troubling on many fronts. Scientists agree almost to a woman that climate change is, undeniably, happening. Unfortunately for the citizens of the world, Trump does not. In 2012, he tweeted:

“The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing noncompetitive.”

In addition, Trump has vowed to dismantle most of the Environmental Protection Agency and withdraw from the Paris climate change agreement. Read more about The Future of Climate Change
